Barely Living

Hi! Sorry for haven't been updating for a long while T.T

Next week will be my exam week so i've been preparing for that. This is not the usual exam, this exam is called OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination, go google it!). You will go inside several stations, each for around 10 minutes and you will face one or several cases (like putting on IV drip, injecting medicines, etc) in each room. And there will be an evaluator inside every room to judge score you looking from what you do or what you don't do. Or sometimes there will be a 'fake' patient to make it looks like a real doctor visit *sigh*. Conclusion: you're all alone, can't sleep or lose your concentration even one bit. and you won't get an A if you fail even one station, even after you retake the exam :s
Well it's known to be the most dreadful exam among medical students. So practically i spent past weeks to force myself to practice so i won't mess up during the exam. wish me luck! *\(^0^)/*

Well can't say much, will post a review soon, see ya!

just wanna leave my face here

Review: The Body Shop Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub

Finally!! I was having four days off (29 Dec 2012-1 jan 2013) so i did everything to pamper myself before going back to my hell-ish life again.

So two days ago i decided to scrub the dirts off my feet using TBS foot scrub.

my foot! haha

Ingredients: Aqua, Pumice, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Magnesium Silicate, Polysorbate 20, Lauryl Betaine, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/Steareth-20 Methacrylate Copolymer, Mentha Arvensis Oil, Potassium Sorbate, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Mentha Piperita Oil, Limonene, Sodium Salicylate, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA.

As you can see, it's in a tub. I have to scoop it using a teaspoon first then i spread it on my feet using my fingers.

So the content is... pale grey granules with random black dots (?) really i have no idea what it is. It smells like peppermint, just like a peppermint gum, but slightly stronger. Well the granules is good, but just good. It's not too soft and not too harsh, hence it cleanses well. My skin surface looks brighter and feels smoother after that and it gives this stinging cold sensation it's almost ticklish. But it doesn't soften my heels, my hard-rock heels. it's just, the surface becomes smooth but they're still my thick heels :(
And also, if you don't use it for a long time, the content will dry out even  when you close the tub really tight. It's not a big problem tho, you can still put a little water in the tub and rehydrate it again.

Conclusion
Pros:
-I love the smell
-It might last long. A little amount of product is enough to cover your feet
-makes my skin brighter and smoother
-easy to rehydrate in case it dries out in a tub

Cons:
-it does nothing to my thick heels
-it dries out even if you close the tub tightly

Well but i love it tho. I am even thinking about buying the whole range. You know, the foot soak and the foot spray and whatnots. I need the whole treatment because my feet are ticklish so i can't let other people touch my feet >.<
